World Series Of Poker

Ladies and gentlemen, and fellow poker players, you are now witnessing history in the making.  Today is the official relaunch of the enormously popular poker website, www.pokerposted.com.  Pokerposted is the best site anywhere for the latest poker news and information.  Luckily for us, the relaunch of pokerposted.com comes smack dab in the middle of the Grand Daddy of all poker events, the World Series of Poker.  I will keep you all updated of whats going on.  Personally, I can’t think of anything more exciting then watching thousands of people with 10,000 and a dream vying for a shot at a multimillion dollar jackpot.  The 2008 WSOP figures to be better than ever as we now on day 6 of the main event.  As of this morning (Sunday July 13) the field has been whittled down to just 79 players.  From those 79, only 27 will be left by tonight.  By Tuesday we will know which 9 players will be fighting for the jackpot come 4 months come November.  Phil Hellmuth, the 11-time gold bracelet winner and only former champion left in the field caused a stir as he was penalized for berating a fellow player and landing himself in the “penalty box”.  Hellmuth will have to sit out the 1st 9 hands.  Here is the leaderboard, along with the chip count of each:
